Foliage: Deciduous. Crimson red leaves throughout the summer that mature to deep purple and shift to become more maroon like in the fall.

Growth rate: Moderate

Attributes: Upright, heavily branched tree with a tall and narrow shape that makes it ideal for more compact areas. Wonder contrast to the typical green leaves of other maples.
